Geoscape is making changes to the G-NAF and Administrative Boundaries products and as a result, these changes will impact PSMA Cloud services.
The current Locality identifier (`locality.locality_pid`) will change from its current format (eg. NSW234, VIC567) to new identifiers. The new identifiers will be prefixed with "loc" and be 15 chars in length. (eg. loc2e585050d240, loc3adebdfd139a)
We can provide you with a mapping table that links the old and new identifiers. Please email Geoscape Support if you need this.
The current LGA identifier (`lga.lga_pid`) will change from its current format (eg. NSW345, VIC456) to new identifiers. The new identifiers will be prefixed with "lga" and be 15 chars in length. (eg. lga8d5aff85539a, lga5404a569c6ec).
We can provide you with a mapping table that links the old and new identifiers. Please email Geoscape Support if you need this.
New ABS ASGS 2021(Affects address functions (eg. PSMA:GNAF_verifyUnparsedAddress and PSMA:GNAF_Live_verifyUnparsedAddress) and PSMA:AdminBoundariesDatasets function)
The new Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) boundaries will be updated to Census year 2021.
Address mesh block (`mesh_block`) values will return the 2021 values.
`mb_2016` features will be added to the PSMA:AdminBoundariesDatasets function. The 2011 and 2016 boundary values will stay and won't be removed.
These changes will take place from Monday 13 September 2021. There will be no outage associated with this activity.
If you have any questions or issues with the change please advise Geoscape Support (support@geoscape.com.au) as soon as possible.
